I remember when Louis & I started trying to make the decision whether or not to move to Hermann 12 years ago. Like anyone trying to make a big life decision like that, we had to weigh the pros and cons. For me, a big con was having to leave the amazing gym I belonged to in Austin.
As a member of this gym I trained for my first marathon, I learned to swim so that I could compete in my first triathlon, I became a spinning addict, and I took my first yoga class. I remember thinking that by moving to Hermann I was doomed to working out to exercise videos in my basement for the rest of my life!
While creating this website, looking through photos and reminiscing about the past ten years, it was evident how wrong I had been!
I am so thankful for every step along the way that led from me being the new girl in town to being able to train others for marathons & triathlons. I've also taught people to swim and introduced them to yoga!
I am also thankful to every person that has taken classes from me over the years because I've learned a lot from them also. This journey wouldn't even have existed at all without their perseverance, resilience, & support.
We are not event close to being at the end of this journey & if the past ten years have brought us this far - I can't wait to see what the future holds...
